Lanre has an HND (Accountancy) from Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Ogun State University, Ago–Iwoye, Masters of Science degree in Economics from University of Lagos, Akoka, Masters in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, a graduate of law from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago – Iwoye and PhD Economics from University of Abuja. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN),  and A Fellow of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), An Associate Member Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (ACIS), Associate member, Certified Forensic Accountant  (CFA), and had a Bachelor at Law from Nigerian Law Scool, Abuja.

Salako has considerable working experience in accounting; financial management; tax planning; auditing; banking, training and manpower development. He is an erudite speaker in many workshops, seminars and training programmes.
